What are the dates and location of the seminar?

Who is eligible to apply?
All Wisconsin K-12 teachers are eligible and encouraged to apply for the program, though the material is geared mainly toward Middle School and High School grade levels.
What is the deadline to apply?
The registration/application deadline for the EFOL: Teachers program is Friday, September 13th, 2019. Seats are limited, early application is encouraged.
How will attendees be selected?
The OAFEE reserves the right to choose attendees based on application and availability. A maximum of 25 attendees will be chosen to participate in the program. Accepted applicants will be notified by email following the registration deadline of September 13th, 2019.
Will my registration fee be refunded?
If, for some reason, you are not chosen to particpate in this particular seminar, your registration fee of $20 will be refunded within one week of the close of the event.
What is included in the event?
The event includes two days of professional instruction in the areas of personal finance and economics, and how to incorporate these lessons in your daily social studies curriculum. A complimentary textbook and additional curriculum materials are provided. Food and drink (breakfast, lunch and snack service) are offered for the duration of the program.
All eligible participants will receive a scholarship for $200 (in the form of a personal check) upon completion of the seminar.
How can I earn the scholarship?
A $200 scholarship is earned by participating in all sessions of the two-day event, including breakfast and lunch both days. Completion of the course evaluation at the conclusion of the seminar on Saturday is required.
