NOTE: Should an in-person gathering be prevented due to COVID-19 concerns, the workshop will be presented in a virtual format. In this event, overnight accommodations and meals will be forfeited. Scholarships will still be offered and all materials will be shipped to you.

Who is eligible to apply?
All Midwest American History teachers are welcome and encouraged to apply.
What is the deadline to apply?
The application deadline for the TEAH Workshop is Thursday, June 18th, 2020.
Seats are limited, early application is encouraged.
How will attendees be selected?
The OAFEE reserves the right to choose attendees based on application and availability. Accepted applicants will be notified by email following the registration deadline of June 18th, 2020.
What is the cost of the program?
A $20 registration fee is required to reserve your space in the program. There are no additional costs associated with this event.
Will my registration fee be refunded?
If, for some reason, you are not chosen to particpate in this particular seminar, your registration fee of $20 will be refunded within one week of the close of the event.
What is the cancellation policy?
As a professional courtesy (and to avoid hotel fees incurred on behalf of the OAFEE), please contact us at least three days prior to the start date of the event, should you need to cancel at any time following confirmation of your acceptance. A refund of the registration fee will not be granted for cancellations made within this three-day window.
What is included in the event?
The event includes instruction and examples for incorporating economic lessons into American History-related curriculum for middle and high school levels, based on the text Economic Episodes in American History, Second Edition. Breakfast and lunch are provided during the workshop at Lambeau Field.
Participants will receive 20 complimentary classroom copies of the Economic Episodes in American History, Second Edition textbook to be shipped following the program. Each attendee will receive an initial copy at the workshop.
A one-night stay (Tuesday, July 14th, 2020 with checkout on Wednesday, July 15th, 2020) is provided at the Tundra Lodge Resort Waterpark & Conference Center. Four waterpark passes are included per room.
All eligible participants will receive a scholarship (in the form of a personal check) for $150 upon completion of the seminar. Please allow at least four weeks for processing.
Please note: A credit card is required upon check-in at Tundra Lodge Resort for incidentals incurred beyond overnight room fee. Attendees are responsible for any travel expenses beyond what is covered by the scholarship.
How do I qualify for the scholarship?
A $150 scholarship (personal check) is earned by participating in all functions of the one-day event, including breakfast and lunch. Completion of the online course evaluation at the conclusion of the seminar is required. Please allow at least 4 weeks for processing of checks following the program.
NOTE: To remain in compliance with Lakeland University and IRS protocol, a completed W-9 Form must be on file before check can be processed. Form will be made available at the event.
Will I receive academic credit?
This is a non-academic credit bearing course and does not qualify for official Wisconsin Continuing Education Units (CEU). Professional Development credit requirements vary by state, and it is the responsibility of the attendee to confirm with their state what qualifies for licensure. A Certificate of Attendance is offered to those who make a request following the program.
Do I need to make a reservation at the hotel?
No. The OAFEE will provide a rooming list to the hotel following the deadline date of June 18th, 2020. The information provided in the registration form below will be used to reserve your space at the event. Please complete the form in its entirity and provide any necessary information in the appropriate fields. Every effort will be made to meet your requests.
